How to Piece Together a Creative + Chic Holiday Outfit
2020 has revealed what’s no longer useful in our lives and what’s vital to helping us keep it all together.
We’ve had to get really comfortable with ourselves while being home all the time, so the difference between what you want to wear and what you always felt like you had to wear has become clearer.
Many of us have ditched stilettos, structured jackets, work dresses — anything deemed too uncomfortable and overly constricting.
Perhaps you’ve had weeks when you’ve worn the same clothes two days in a row (I’m guilty of this) and days when you switched out of your sleep pajamas into your work loungewear to feel like you’ve still got a routine (also guilty of this).
Throughout the highs, lows and questionable quarantine outfits, your style has been a reflection of your mental state.
And no matter what state you’ve been in, it’s all okay.
My goal is to always meet you where you’re at with your style, help you wear what feels good and inspire you to create more outfits that do the same.
And this holiday season should be no different.
You may just be feeling like throwing on sweats (totally fine!) or like getting dressed for the sake of wearing something fabulous.
Either way, this week is about exploring and creating a holiday look that’s comfortable, fun and easy to throw on for your low-key celebration.
